Bye bye Mentigi Dome Villas :( There you get to see AZIZ! This is us just before getting into our cab to go back to the airport and Bali ! And the day we had to leave dawned. I woke up wishing for the sun to go back and for it to be night again. I so wanted it to be our first morning in Mentigi when uttesh and sim woke us up at 7 AM. But like they say, all good things come to an end, so better things can come your way :) With that attitude and spirit we got ready to bid farewell to mentigi and lombok. I made some coffee for the folks, we sat around the entrance to the bedrooms with our mugs of coffee and there was a little bit of silence, a little chatter, a few sighs and many smiles. Showers and packing followed, and we were all set to leave. Aziz and us took a picture (above) and we  climbed into our taxi and set off. I don't remember what we spoke about in the car, but im guessing the mood and our hearts were very heavy. We reached Lombok Airport only to realise ...

I'll never get the order of Sun, Sand and Smiles correct, each post has a different name and I'm too lazy to go back and correct it. Anyhow, you get the idea right. There was a lot of sun, as our very very tanned faces showed by the end of those 7 days. A lot of sand, i still find it here and there in my house (!) and a lot of smiles, the proof is our crazy active WhatsApp group and Prem Agam jokes makes their appearance here and there :) Our second day in Mentigi. We woke up early-ish. The boys from the villa had made breakfast for us. For all the care and discipline I maintain in my daily diet in Singapore, i let loose when I was on this vacation. It's been ages since I've had that much bread, butter and jam. We'd picked up a few bottles of orange juice last night, proved be really useful for this breakfast.
